One of the major questions on our long range survey was fines/no fines. Based on your feedback and library data from libraries already fine free we have chosen to be fine free more permanently.

• Fines already given will remain on the cards.
• We cannot remove, waive, or adjust any fines accrued from non-Cooperstown owned items.
• Fines for lost items will remain on accounts for payment, past and present.
• Items will be marked “lost” and bills added to your account sooner to encourage returns in a more timely fashion.
