December 15, 2024: Hospice and Palliative Care: Help for You and Your Loved Ones with Chronic Illness—James Dalton, MD, Primary Care Internal Medicine physician and retired Director of Medical Education, Bassett Medical Center, and Kelly McGraw, Senior Director for Community Engagement and Growth, Helios Care, will discuss the benefits offered under the Hospice program to people with chronic medical conditions, the similarities and differences between palliative care and Hospice, and some of the myths and misunderstandings about these care options.
January 26, 2025: William Richtsmeier, MD, will present his research in a talk titled “How Wind, Rain, Ice, and Snow Affect Otsego Lake’s Summer Safety—A Physician’s View of Cyanobacteria Toxins and Us.” This program is offered in memory of Dr. Antoinette Kuzminski, who passed away on August 22, 2024.
February 23, 2025: A focus on housing issues in the Cooperstown area.
